Red and black berries start-to-finish with dried herb notes. Perfectly integrated tannins, nice energy through to medium-long finish. At its peak, this is an excellent 2007 that should drink well for another 5 years. Great value wine.

Dark ruby red. This is a fruit driven expression of the 2007 vintage. Well balanced with acidity & silky tannins emerge with air. The texture is a bit soft, but the fruit simply shimmers and glows here. The initial typicity of bright red berries moves into some darker notes as it opens.
Finessed & graceful, just a touch monolithic. I love fresh, pure Pinot, but would like a little more structure & nuance. Overall quite good.

I like this smokey, terroir driven, broad but distinctively fruit flavors along with some dirt, Oregon Funk, wet fir needle pungent flavor wine. Went beautifully with a current flavored stuffing at the Turkey Day feast. Stood up to the variety of foods and several other Oregon Pinots and Gamay Noirs we enjoyed!
