Tasted by fries on 9/19/2009 & rated 89 points: This was a bit of a revelation for me... certainly the first "quality" prosecco I've had. Nose is loaded with pears and ripe apples. Palette is medium dry (just enough sweetness), with some interesting mild spicy / yeasty flavours, and a refreshing finish. Excellent with a pear / caramel upside-down cake. (712 views)
Tasted by jeffkirk on 9/1/2009 & rated 86 points: (603 views)
Tasted by Deb293 on 8/11/2009 & rated 85 points: Rather dry with flavors of anise and pear. OK. (971 views)
Tasted by jmull on 7/24/2009 & rated 88 points: Very nice value Prosecco, sporting pure and crisp apple fruit. A little light on the acid, but great for the price. 88. (990 views)

Tasted by kyosh on 5/10/2009 & rated 88 points: Bubblies are fun! Peaches, Pears and a little citrus. Not too dry, not too sweet, just right (1378 views)
Tasted by DHG on 4/28/2009 & rated 87 points: While I would not call this prosecco steely or even racy (the mineral component overshadows the acidic), the style is dry with a nice backbone. What a revelation for a prosecco. This prosecco stays firmly in the camp of simple, dry and refreshing. I'll go for that. With notes of toasty yeastiness, subtle present fruit and minerality on the lingering finish. (1083 views)

Producer Website
  • Overview: This refreshing lightly sparkling white wine is obtained from 100% Prosecco grapes grown in the Valdobbiadene hills in the Veneto, about an hour north of Venice. Its easy drinking style makes it a favourite sparkler for parties and receptions. It is also a great apertivo as it enhances the appetite and is thus a nice pre-dinner wine. In Venice it is the happy hour favourite and the Venetians belly up to the bar for glasses of this as a civilized daily ritual.
  • Vinification: Pressing, destemming, cooling of must and fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. Second fermentation in ”cuve close” technique
  • Aging: 2 months in the bottle before release to the market.
  • Alcohol: 12.5%
  • Appearance: Straw-coloured with bright reflections.
  • Aroma: Very fine, persistent, pleasant and crisp, with an element of golden apple.
  • Taste: Creamy, refreshing and balanced with a slightly sweet finish.
  • Serving Suggestions: As an aperitif or with shrimp hors-d’oeuvres and risotto.
  • Oenologist: Primo Franco
