A transformational wine. Opened with amazing aromatics, overwhelmed the room. Started out with components of strawberry and cream. After two hours came into its own with notes of plum and herbs. After four hours closed down with cranberry and chalk.

I had a different experience then some of the recent reviews. I thought this was a good bottle. It was a little heave for a Pinot, but overall I was pleasantly surprised.

Smelled like kethcup. Hard to get through. One of the worst wines I've had in the past year. Past its prime in a uniquely bad way. Avoid.

Martin Scott Wines Portfolio Event (New York City): Medium ruby to tawny color. Intense herbal nose, with notes of lavender, leather and earth. Nice structure and presence on the palate.
