This was the 2nd bottle of the night after a Stephen Ross Central Coast Pinot. Fared very well by comparison. More fruit on the nose, bigger body and nicer finish. Maybe a little past its prime, but lots of plum and blackberry, with just a hint of cedar and graphite.
Love our Acacia pinots!

Great ruby color. Good black cherry fruit. Some anise and spice, leading to definite mineral notes. But then the tannins dry everything out along with a kick of acidity. Points for not being a fruit bomb, but it couldn't keep its balance.
