Very good, but not exciting by any stretch - Dark, full bodied with a nose of blackfruit, plum, cherry, mocha and vanilla, decent balance, not intense or complex enough to warrant the price, sweet, smooth on the palate with medium length, good (85 Points).

Ho-hum, the formula strikes again. Oak up an average wine and you get this. Medium body of blackberries, bit of currant, little finesse or structure. At $27 this is an anti-QPR. Spend $8 for Mondavi Vinetta or McManis and get the same experience.

From tasting of several vintage Washington Cabs and Syrahs, no detailed notes.

Pleasant to drink, with lots of sweet oak. Lack of fruit partly hides its varietal charaacter - if I had it blind I would think it was a merlot.
