  16.6% alcohol. This really is an interesting wine. It's super ripe. The alcohol gives away that. Meant to be a dessert wine at its best, I think. And that's what we did with this bottle. Had some 72% dark chocolate, and it was ideal with this bad boy. Very ripe and a touch port-like on the nose. Rich, sumptuous black fruit in the mouth, and a really fine amount of acidity giving it some spine. A touch flabby on the finish but really not any heat. An ideal accompaniment to the chocolate.
