Very pale. Thought it was going to be a fragile loser that sat in the cellar throguh it good years. Cork popped nicely. Low nose. Crisp and refreshing with tart peach and honeydew nuances. It was perfect with dinner (homemade chicken pot pie). What I particularly liked about the bottle was that the dominant overtones found often in the highly touted NZ SBs were muted here. The wine didn't threaten the food yet was quite refreshing and complimentary. It is in a good place now if you still have any and have stored it properly. I don't know how long it will hold up, as I was astonished how well it presented tonight. Decently made and probably was under the radar. (I bought it in a half price sale at a supermarket - one of my favorite wine expedition pasttimes.)

Drank at Thai restaurant. Pale yellow hue. Aromas of fresh grass, tart citrus, with hints of gooseberry. Very true to the varietal. Med. to light in the mouth with plus acidity, the flavor of grapefruit with a distinct herbaceous edge nicely complimented the green curry with shrimp and extra Thai basil I had ordered. A nice, easy Sauv.

Note: I have this listed as a Carneros. Maybe wrong type? Crisp lemon, steel, puckery. Food wine.
