Oregon Pinot Noir Conversion; 1/17/2020-1/20/2020: Deep ruby in color with pink rim, nose was medium intensity with youthful fruit and some spice. Very present tannins. Overall impression was good and even better with some goat cheese.

Mixed Lineup (Kenwood Restaurant): The flavor profile is consistent with Domaine Serene. The wine is fairly large, slightly creamy with red fruit. It does seem to be slightly past peak, which was quite evident while drinking this alongside the 2008 Evenstead Reserve. This wine seemed high-toned and a bit more mellow. i'm splitting hairs a bit, because it was still a great wine.

Mixed Theme at The Kewwood (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Dark red color. Drank 1 glass over an hour plus. This was bigger and more intense on the palate overall with a more high toned feel the dark fruits. The fruit is gravitating toward a liqueurish character. I think this past peak and has lost some of the brightness I assume this once had. The texture is still good and the tannins are noticeable. I would not hold this myself.

Perfect cork and virtually no sediment. Dark ruby color to the edge still. Mellow and smooth, with dark berry and earth flavors. I didn't pick up a lot of complexity despite a nice long finish. Still tasty, but probably ready to drink.

I am an avid cab drinker and agree with the reviews... At first it has the taste of a merlot, but definitely softens with time in the decanter. Think it may continue to get better with age so will leave the rest of my bottles in the cellar for a few years.
