Will likely gain a point over the next hour. Solid. Darker Nuits style fruit, open nose with some funk but black berry, nice hint of VA. Rustic style. Medium weight, balanced flavor throughout, short to med finish. Nice package for intro, mature.

Final bottle, not as good as last one a year ago, but still drinking very nicely. It's moved onto secondary notes, but still has fruit, took an hour or two to come alive. A bit thin on the palate, but very good for a village wine.

A classy Nuits with an alluring nose of cedar-spice, black fruits and a touch of vanilla. Punches above its weight, with sous-bois, kirsch and baking spice flavors, good depth and a medium+ finish that still shows a bit of tannic grip. Lacks a bit of complexity, and there is a touch more wood than I like (though it is pretty well integrated at this stage), but very good for a village wine. Probably drinking at its peak now, or hold for up to 5 years.

Big bold wine with lots of tanin and wood. Now on a good phase where fruit and wood has meet. Nose barnyard and wet forrest, very good black fruit. Taste still a bit dry from wood, strong and long for a NsG village and typical flavours.
