Opened for an hour and the nose is fragrant with flower shop and candy store combined. I am stunned by how young and big this wine is and it’s still a little too young to drink. It’s got a deep dark red hue and the palate is huge; you could have this with a pastrami sandwich and the wine would compliment it. I get cherry, boysenberry, chocolate and licorice, especially on the back end. The wine is a monster and occasionally I enjoy a Petit Verdot and this is a quintessential example. It’s too early to drink or be prepared for a long decant

Almost pitch black core, super dark garnet red. Lovely nose, minerality, dark berries and savory. Great tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Lush and dry palate with some earthiness and dried berries. Definitely not backing down. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2023.

very nice nose and colour was wonderful. decent weight on the palate with a somewhat silky texture. a bit of a sour finish. sour cherry? or maybe green olive? not sure. decent but better wine out there for the price

interesting for CA in that it was very fruity and voluptuous at opening and then slammed shut over the next couple hours, kind of bordeaux like that way. i'd give it more time for sure. tough to judge right now.
