  Patina: maybe 93; wow--very pure pear and peach fruit, good intensity, slately mineral mouth of clean rocks, good finish, perfect with pear soaked in riesling. Awesome. Need more good auslese.

This is a mouthful up front, with brown sugar, tropical fruit and spice; it lags a bit on the finish. Nice wine and a pretty good value, all things considered. Seems to improve with some air, but definitely better at low temp.
