  Superb wine in the true italian tradition. Lots of red fruit, but backed up by chocolate and leather in a fine balance with rounded taninnes. I would think that the age was just right, but som emore years will not do any harm.

Tobacco, old leather, Honduras mahogany and Spanish cedar cigar box? Oh yeah.. This Brunello had a different light vegetal taste on the finish which is a little odd. I don't consider this to be a bad thing just a youthful expression that will move on in time. I think this wine is a little young to be drinking right now. I'll revisit in 2010.
