Followed for 4 hours, not decanted. The aromatics became more reserved with time. Initially classic central coast with red fruits + trace leather and sandalwood. Unfortunately these faded and the wine became monolithic. Finished medium/short length. Good, but not sure aging has rewarded.

Deep garnet color; surprised to see people describing this as “light” years ago when it is dark and fullish at age 14. This is an easy drinker still with lively dark fruit notes and slight soil inflection. Rich, long fruit finish. Nothing delicate here. Quite good.

Found this at a wine shop today, mixed in with some 2014s. The cork was crumbled and I thought it was dead when I first tasted it. With some air and time in the glass, however, it still has quite a bit of life left.
Russian River-like profile on the nose, but more earthy and not as bright. Dark, earthy notes on the palate, with nutmeg and baking spices. Medium-length, but subtle finish, with prominent acidity and tannins.

Very smooth. rich but very coastal in its depth and balanced acid. This may have a few years left. strawberry, spice, almond, and a yeasty fun that is very interesting

Medium purple, with slight bricking. Aromas of cherry, strawberry, and black fruits present. On the palate, cherry mash, blackberry, and plum fruits are melded and ripe, with root beer and white spice flavors gently folding in. Soft tannins and just enough acidity to keep the fruits in balance.
