Needed 5mn to come together and then it was Burgundy in Provence. Very mature color and hazy. A lot of tertiary notes with still nice cherry fruit. just like the color, the wine is also very much mature and evolved. Even though it might have been a better wine 10 years ago it was great. What surprised me the most was the structure of the wine on the mid palate. Very nice.

Nottingham Offline (Harts): A light red - looking around 20 years old. Gorgeous old stinky nose with a hint of volatility and sweetness. Very dried out on the palate, initially, but some freshness comes through later - or is just that the VA? It has a pinot like feel to it. Oldish, with the fruit very much in the background. I like this.
