I was a little apprehensive trying this bottle since it seemed 'a little old' for a Pinot Gris, but it was very good prior to the meal and during. We had it with a turkey scaloppini and it held up beautifully. I got some honeydew melon and peach both on the nose and on the palate. It provided a wonderful dining experience

Paired with Ellen's Branzino a la Greque(Mark Bittman recipe). Had sufficient acidity to last, Quince flavors. Surprisingly fit for its age.

Very clean and crisp. Lots of spice notes. Pear flavors. Nice mouthfeel, light richness. Not a whole lot of flavor but very pleasant and enjoyable.
