Delicious nose of cherries and fresh plum. The fruit followed on the palate and the tannins seemed to disappear. Had this with Fillet Mignon on the BBQ, and was a little disappointed. I thought there would be more guts to it, but it didn't match too well with the steak. On its own, it was wonderful. I would suggest drinking within the next six months or so.

Verticals of BC wines - Burrowing Owl Cab Sauv, Black Hills Nota Bene, Osoyoos Larsose Grand Vin (Sharon & Guy's): Clear cranberry core of moderate intensity to a slightly oranging edge - some development showing. Moderate+ and very expressive nose (very Bordeaux like) of cedar and spice with lifted forest floor notes along with tea and leather. Dry but soft on the palate with moderate and well balanced alcohol/acid/tannin and body. Moderately intense flavours of raisinated fruit along with minerals, cedar and spice on the palate - almost like a cross between Bordeaux and Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Moderately long finish. Wish I had more - would give them 3+ years to develop further. Outstanding!

slight bricking; pickle juice, hint of tobacco, dark fruit, chocolate, well-integrated tannins, good lift. Surprisingly lively for its age

Clear light red with brown edges. Dill, red flowers and red cherry nose, elegant. Dry floral red fruit flavours and a very dry delicious finish.
The dill surprised me a bit but this wine was very enjoyable.
