Delightful. Slightly oxidized nose, with citrus and pear and hints of tropical fruit. And minerals. Tastes instantly of slate, surprisingly ripe citrus and tropical fruit, with bracing acidity. And minerals. Ancient sea floor minerals. Medium body. Long briny dried fruit finish. Tastes a bit of slight oxidation, but entirely pleasant. Suspect that tomorrow the fruit will get weightier and the tropicalia will push it's way to the front past the citrus, and that the minerality will take a bit of back seat, but we'll see.
Lemony nose, palate of lemon, lemon zest, pronounced limestone minerality, tart acidity, long lemony finish. Drinking beautifully now. But with additional bottle age, I suspect it will gain some dried honey complexity.
