Taillepieds rarely disappoint me and this was no different. Definitely Rossignol style but first time from this vineyard and one of the better bottles of his that I've had. Hit it's stride with about 2-3 hours of bottle air. Great fruit, fairly long finish. Ready to go, but may improve with age.

Fabulous 2005 Burgundies--Vineyard Gate (Millbrae, CA): Brambly sulfur nose. Concentrated and deep on the palate. This needs serious time to unfold. Should be awesome, though it's probably in just a bit of shock right now. From 2020.
