Very dark, and inky in color. Intensely alcoholic in the nose, too much actually. Ran this through the aerator to open it up and drank over a couple of hours, but still couldn’t seem to get the alcohol to burn off. Dark fruit, mostly strawberry, and some blueberry. Tannic and salty mouthfeel. Alcohol and strawberry, some raspberry, dark fruits dominate, definitely an Aussie fruit bomb. Paired w/roasted pork loin and brussel sprouts and it was really pretty over-powering for this meal. One-dimensional and nothing more than an in-your-face fruit bomb. Didn’t really care for and would not buy again.

There was just enough fruit character to keep this in the eighties. Nose of ripe, dark fruit. A simple fruit profile on the palate with a finish like a shot of vodka.

(Suxx Shiraz) #2; COLOR-very dark; NOSE-blueberries and blackberries for sure; good ripe fruit; TASTE-good fruit; nice black candy; not as obnoxious as I expected; very viscous on the palate; very thick and chewy; I feel like I'm biting a Charleston Chew -- chewy and chocolaty; big wine; very popular w/ many New World folks; good wine; solid; good length; good long finish; big bright blackberry; really interesting black raspberry flavor; the high alcohol rate is balanced; I like this wine; this is a very fun fruit bomb; JM-91; GV-89

Hopefully it will improve with time in the bottle. We didn't finish it - just too sharp and not a cohesive flavor profile.

Very robust on day 1. Mellowed on Day 2. Very tannic. I like a big Shiraz so I enjoyed.
