This wine has gotten a lot of positive attention lately (according to the producer web site), it has received gold medals and has been mentioned in high level French, Belgian and Dutch wine publications. I was thus very curious to taste my only bottle, which I bought from the producer about a year ago. Appearance: a crispy golden yellow, looks very nice (5/5). Nose: apples, a buttery note (touch of oak), tropical fruit, quite expressive and yummy! (12/15). Palate: buttery apples, nice and smooth, touch of oak here as well, but in balance and very enjoyable (15/20). Overall: this was a very good wine that was just great with pan fried pike-perch, fried broccoli and mashed potato. The oak was there, not hiding in any way, but I must say that in this case I enjoyed it. It was not overpowering. This is a blend of chardonnay, chenin blanc and mauzac, and I think the chenin floralness is coming through quite strongly (8/10).

Just a short note; juicy, fresh and mild. Nothing really outstanding though.
