Popped and poured. This has a beautiful floral nose with herbal notes. But the palate while pretty full bodied and concentrated is a little dusty and four square. Maybe this means more time but not clear.

Slow ox 30 min. Medium to full bodied, quite concentrated, delicious cherry fruit and herbs, but fairly foursquare, a little rustic on the edges for this vineyard

Opened at POB Paulee in Hong Kong. Slow-oxed for a few hours before enjoying over the dinner.
Even though I feel like we gave this wine enough time to breathe, this was still a 'big' wine. Terroir and structure showing through very well, and the nose was a mix of red/blue fruit with Vosne spice.
Probably still has life ahead of it to properly integrate and develop further complexity. Would like to revisit in 3+ years.

tasted blind nose - strawberry, catsup mouth - very clean, very pure, perhaps a touch astringent, but very pleasing. to me drinking more chambolle than vosne. Hold for additional development

Ngo style dinner (les Sense KL): This is uplifted with expressive with Hoisin sauce, autumn leaves, sweet dark fruits and spices all in a cool frame that suggested it is from the upper slope. Full, dense on the palate, long suave silky tannin, sophisticated sweet fruit and tannin. Long coffee bitter cocoa. To me VR it was not, but a great Grand Cru from Gevrey, maybe a Chambertin or Clos de Beze.
