A year with more density and viscosity, loaded with intense dried apricot and pineapple, good acidity, quite a bit of sweetness, and an enduring finish. Still young, fresh, and relatively undeveloped, but a pleasure to drink.
The intensity and concentration here are just absurd. This feels more like Eiswein with its incredible purity, high toned spiciness around a core of ripe citrus and tropical fruits, and a powerful blade of acidity beneath that cuts through all the sweetness and keeps it so remarkably well balanced. The sense of refreshment and lightness here are really remarkable for a big, dessert-styled Auslese, each sip seems to resonate for minutes and yet a half bottle disappears so quickly. Just a spectacular Riesling.
already getting a bit of petrol, more lime, baked apples and pears, with a honeyed and spiced sweetness, botrytis, and a higher than I remember perceived RS. Still very fine, almost a BA I felt. 93 pts

(Donnhoff Oberhauser Brucke Auslese) This had the tiniest hint of petrol and all the Brucke power you could ask for. Saucy, earthy, mineral and ripe this was just starting to get interesting but still needs loads of time.
