  • Clear, dark ruby appearance; nose is raspberry, strawberry, leather and some barnyard; Profile is big fruit (for burgundy) up front that lingers for awhile, slowly replaced by the earthy flavors and tailing off with a nice acidity; structure is gentle, round and pronounced on the roof of the mouth; finish is about 20 seconds with no unpleasant bitterness; balance is excellent. This is a unique wine that required about 30 minutes to begin opening up. I really enjoyed this
