A little browner that I'd like. Clean nose with some.berries and mossy dirt. A little sweat. Slight oxidation on palate. Light structure and some floral. Nice but not deep. Will see what air does.

Well I'd never had a mint flavor in Burgundy before. Not bad, but baffling. Nothing seemed flawed - we have no clue. Preferred the 1996 though, which was quite different.

Herby with plenty of alcohol and acidity. Good with food. Not exceedingly complex. Prefered this to the poggio salvi with the pizzas from the outdoor oven tonight.

(Clos du Tart Clos du Tart) Wide, herby, and cooly mineral aromas. Plenty of depth of flavour, some maturity but the tannin despite being less forward than the Lambrays also needs 3-5 years. There's a slight metallic edge to the flavours but not too bad. Good, but less successful than the Lambrays.

Charleston III - the Weekend; 9/18/2014-9/20/2014 (Charleston SC - various locations incl. Red Drum, Halls, Circa 1886, and Kings Courtyard Inn): Wow - such an incredibly different flavor for a wine. There is definite mint here. Not sure where it comes from, didn't taste it at all on the '96 that this was paired side by side with. It's still a very young wine. I think I liked it, but not quite sure what to say about it other than different and interesting. Also decanted for a few hours before consuming.
