  • 4th time I have had this wine but not since 2005. Opened by Otis. A consistently outstanding wine. Deeper gold color is starting to show. No petrol on the nose. Very rich and lush with a thicker mouthfeel. Very tropical with honeysuckle, papaya, peach and slate. All held together with fine acidity. Long finish. I have 1 bottle of this and there is no rush to drink it. This wine could easily last until 25-30 years (2027-2032). 95-96 points.

  • Opened by Otis at gourmet group. Very deep gold color showing age. On its own, this was very sweet. But, paired with the rutabaga puree, this was sublime. Notes of orange marmalade, honey and citrus. This was a true joy to consume. 95+

  • AP 34003 008 03. Deep color. Aromas of honeyed peach and tangerine with a nice mineral undertone. Ripe white peach on the rich, full-bodied palate with a long finish. Terrific fruit and length, and for me, the pairing of the night with the rutabaga puree. Thank you, Otis.

  • Super ripe nose and body with lots of peach and tangerine notes. Palate seemed a bit fleshier than I expected with medium acidity and a lot of tropical fruit flavors. Seems to be drinking in its wheelhouse.

  • Dinner at Sun Wah (Chicago, IL): #08-03, 8% abv. From half bottle. Very beautiful golden colour with a nose that screams peach. Peach, peach, and more peach. The palate is quite ripe and jam-packed with, you guessed it, peach, but I found the acidity to be a bit lacking (perhaps not surprising, given the vintage). Still, this was delicious in small quantities, before the massive amounts of sugar overwhelmed you.
