Harrison Hill (Delille) 1997-2005 vertical (Scott G's house): Aromas of very ripe fruit, and some cellar dust initially that faded with the emergence of some serious green bell pepper hiding just a bit of mint. THe mouthfeel was pleasantly soft, with low acidity. FInish wasn't super long or short. Some at the table thought it was over the hill, but Cindy and I quite liked its aged personality.

Drank with GMan Fam w/ a 95 and 94. I liked the 94 best this time, but all were really drinking well. The 97 had the most intensity with some tabacco and dry earth.

Still hanging on, gorgeous color - one of the producers who can make Washington wines that defy the "drink in 5-8 years" rule.

Good juice. Reminiscent of southern burgundy. 1997 is a little beyond its prime but don’t be scared. Drink now!
