Part of a Northern vs Southern Rhone dinner with my wine group. My favorite of the night. I may be grading this a point high, but I always seem to love the cuvee! I think it has lots of life ahead of it.

Greatly enjoyed and seems to me to have some years ahead of it if only I had more. More restrained side of CNP from less heralded vintages. THat seems to be my sweet spot, as this was truly delicious. Balanced and pure. Excellent

A truckload of La Garrigue.
This continues to be a very beautiful CdP.
Our last bottle.

Last bottle. 🙁. Still very nice fruit, tasting the plumbs and raspberries. Will be needing to find more.

Drinking my way through a case purchased on release. Have had a few so so bottles over the last few years but this one-bottle 10 or 11 is spectacular!
Medium ruby in appearance.
Flamboyant and fully mature nose of melted liquorice, cedar, rooibos tea, black fruits, garrigue and baking spice.
The palate is full bodied with gorgeous mouthfeel, freshness and impressive flavor concentration. The finish is long.
This bottle proves the old adage that with CDP at age 15 there are "no great vintages, only great bottles" and this is a great bottle!
