Full of tobacco, capsicum, smoke, pencil shavings. Gained a core of sweetness after a couple hours. Not a great wine, but a very nice old-styled Bordeaux.

Vivino - Singapore "chapter" (the opening) (Imperial Treasure, Great World City): Our 4th red of the night. This came showing right out the gates. Wow nose - pencil case, lead, tobacco. All signs point towards a Pauillac. On the palate - lush, savoury and drinking really well with plenty of dark fruits. Could've been much better had the length been longer. We were all left guessing... Grand-vin? but length-wise...? I was definitely stumped. Didn't expect this '86 (2nd-wine) to still perform at this level... Still have the legs to last for quite some years. Overall a very enjoyable drink.

Opened a bottle tonight. Let it breathe for about 2 -3 hours but did not decant it. Had it with a nice pasta dinner. It was excellent, medium body, and has held up well. Tannins gone but flavor still there. Nice finish.
