Bradkny is spot on. Smoky, elegant with good lift but rich fruit. My bootle was exceedingly fresh, and when served blind the table guessed 2008 or 2010 (!). They guessed Roulot Meursault, but where shocked to learn that it is not a premier cru. It tasted like it still has many more years of development before it's peak.

The supper club meets at Sarah's. Champagne, Burgundy, Loire Chenin and CDP are served. (Sarah's.): This showed beautifully and was a perfect match with the scallop and uni crudo. It's floral with apples, pears, hints of citrus and a light smoky note on the nose and palate. Wonderfully balanced with a lovely elegance and softness to the mouthfeel, though there's richness there. Finishes with a nice mineral streak and a touch of herb. Low A-.
