clear ruby in the glass. pleasant nose with jammy dark fruit, currant and oak. good acidity with ample black cherry, leather with smokey oak notes. still a little harsh on the mid palate with gripping tannins. good but not great. can hold 1-2 more years.

Not bad for 15 years. Pretty toasty at opening, After a while, dark chocolate flavors emerge.
