nose of smoky (?grilled) apricots; mix of light saffron and turmeric in color; full mouth feel; apricot, mango and yellow peach with tertiary smoothness, then a hint of honey balanced by good acidity; still more savory than sweet; soft and slightly short finish; overall, a nice new sensation, albeit not for everyone (M wouldn't drink it--all the more for me).
Gotta push that "drink by" date at least up to Jan 2014. Drank a bottle of this on the 2nd with seven wine retailers and unanimously agreed it was the white of the night. Ultra-refined, medium-weight, afternoon-hued, soft and layered, and maybe vinified dry because boy was it racy, but hard to tell. A violin sonata in a bottle.
Super nose, petrol, white flowers, stone fruits. Great balance & poise. Slightly sweet on the tongue, but it's hard to tell if there is actually any residual sugar here. Quite rich with concentrated fruit and a beautiful finish. I may have consumed the last bottle of this too soon.
