MG. Served as the last wine, rather hurried. Seems to have arrived, quite complete, very open and well balanced, oak fully integrated, notes of olives, tar, kamfer, hanged meat. #MasterClass

Final of 4 bottles, last tasted about 1.5 yrs ago. It was spot-on and lovely this evening, at a beautiful peak of maturity, showing a definite granite-laden presence behind a cacophony of mature black fruits, tapenade, anise, tar, wet rocks and soil, and a meatiness that leads into the gorgeously defined finish, where the ultra-finely-grained tannins give beautiful texture and mouthfeel as the perfectly tuned acidity leaves the forever finish. Superb effort. Drink now.

Dark fruit with a hint a cranberry, soft and earthy, with low acidity. Enjoyable, but a little past its prime.
