Light golden in colour; over ripe yellow fruits, stone, and some caramel on the nose. A sharp and focused palate of lemony guavas and some toasty peaches. Medium bodied with a medium-long finish. Paired with ahi tuna steak. Drinking well now. 92+
A 100% voigner wine. Expected to be highly aromatic. The colour was a lovely golden blonde which made it look so inviting. On nosing it it was was sickly sweet, over ripe fruits and hints of floral tones. As it aired it settled to a rather pleasant guava, melon notes with hints of roses. On the palate it was palatable initially, like haveing sweet melons in the mouth. As it opened up I thougt it was a nice change from the chardonays and savignon blancs. Hled up well for more than 2 hours.
