  Similar notes to last time. Gold with prominent legs and glycerol to look at. The nose has fennel, runny honey and a perfume which makes it enticing. The palate has power and intensity with vegetal flavours of fennel, almond, and bit of sweetness too with ripe apricot, honey, lemon, lime and grapefruit. It needs a decant but it opens with time. A great wine but a style I don’t like too much.

  (100% Marsanne, 13.5% Alkohol) Kräftiges Gelb. Die Nase zeigt einen faszinierenden Mix aus Kräutern, reifer Frucht, Honig und harzigen Noten, Mandelblüten. Im Gaumen reichhaltig, rund, milde Säure, sehr druckvoll, top Balance, natürlich üppig, nix für Menschen, die Schlankheit suchen, doch hier ist alles an seinem Platz. Langer, harziger, gelbfruchtiger Abgang, hallt auf Mandeln nach. Trinken bis 2030.

  At CKH with Xtremos. Wow! This wine has aged nicely, with gold color, plenty of fresh orchard fruits, and no evidence of maderization in the taste profile. Big body. Long finish. Wish I had more. :(

  Drank with appetisers at Tony’s with M. This bottle was in beautiful shape. Vibrant golden color. Lovely nose, prominent lanolin and peach and tropical fruit notes, with a very long finish. Came back to the last of the bottle towards the end of the meal and was even better.
