Open but moderate nose of black cherries, touch of black raspberry, hints of mint, and guava (?). Approachable, but opened up beautifully with a half hour in the decanter...warm, round almost cinnamon tinged with lovely balance and rich concentration, medium plus finish. Spectacular for the vintage and improving. Drink or hold.
