  Opened with low expectations.
  I haven't found the Blagny wines to be terribly ageworthy.
  This wine, well past its peak, confirms this.
  It has lost most all of its aromatic diversity and intensity.
  Revisited the following day. Clearly influenced by an unfavorable food pairing yesterday, this wine has retained some interest on mushroom, forest floor, spicy and earthy side. There's no fruit left but the tertiary notes are pleasant. The mouthfeel is very balanced: good acidity and just enough textural richness to create a wholesome experience. At 24 years, you probably shouldn't ask for much more...
