  Black fruit with sweet figs on the nose. Plenty of time on this wine - I would give it 5 yrs +++. Contrary to opinion on the site I think this has a way to go...

  What a lovely wine! Good flavor. Some spice in the middle. Dark at the end. Good body, but still dry. Served with godfather sauce. Very nice wine indeed.

  First bottle was unusual. I think it was sediment but there was so much, it was caked into the neck of the bottle. When I poured it was so clogged nothing came out! A second bottle was opened. Opaque purple. Very strong, almost liquer-like blackberry, black fruits. Creme de cassis, plum, black cherry, brambles. Smokey oak notes. Vibrant acidity, slightly rustic tannins, medium length. Alcohol shows on the finish and nose because it's 14.5%!!
