  • Wow, this looks and tastes young. People guessed 80s, maybe 70s after we were told the color is “surprisingly dark”. Never would have occurred this is a 1950.

Complex nose of cassis, mushrooms, forest floor, and dark fruit on the palate. Fully integrated tannins with flavors of underwood, wet asphalt, and dark berries kn the palate. Very good finish. Wow, I’m just amazed and how well and young this tastes. Phenomenal 70 year old wine!
