Tasted by Anonymous on 1/11/2010: 7/10 - Subtle tannins, spicy plum, cherry chocolate
Drank at Jaan, S$44/glass (549 views)
Tasted by sbrehmer on 12/24/2009 & rated 88 points: Not very aromatic. Nose of blackberries mostly. Taste of chocolate, dark berries, leather. Not much else coming through for me on this one. Mild tanins. Drank with prime rib. No raving compliments, but no one trashed it either. A pretty delicious wine but maybe overpriced at $40. (763 views)

Tasted by beezer6 on 6/28/2009 & rated 88 points: Taste from Brad at Cafe Bionda.
Spicy cabernet showing classic dark cherry components with leather.
Solid depth with a hot finish overal. Some interesting slate components too. (2366 views)
Tasted by Hazeo on 6/5/2009 & rated 84 points: Sweet candy syrup ... even after an 03 right bank bdx this was overwhelmingly sweet. Other parts of the wine were nice and smooth but after the first glass I was enjoying this less and less. My notes on the 04 was very favourable so either the vintage is at play here or my palette has changed a lot. Whichever it is though, it definitely is very new world and not a bordeaux styled cab.  Tasted by mraschko on 3/27/2009 & rated 85 points: For what I paid for it (even on sale), I was disappointed with this wine. I found it too too bright and acidic. It lacks the rich texture of a great red. Cherry and blackberry flavors with plenty of tannins. Hint of pepper on the finish. (3009 views)
Tasted by beezer6 on 3/15/2009 & rated 87 points: Binny's California Wine Adventure (Drury Lane Theater, Oak Brook, IL) (2417 views)
Tasted by GWE on 2/23/2009 & rated 91 points: second bottle... (3162 views)
Tasted by GWE on 2/23/2009 & rated 91 points: wow... decanted two bottles for a nice dinner with friends, Just an great wine, strong beery tones when open with a little hint of vanila. I was araid that it might be to strong being so young but it was a little strong but not as bad as I was expecting. Needs a year or two more in the bottle. I can not wait... (3153 views)
Tasted by Huff on 2/14/2009 & rated 89 points: Nose: blackberry and dark cherry, some tobacco, vanilla
Taste: mellow tannins that will only get smoother with age, some herbaceous notes, blackberry
Nutshell: very good, but expected from this bottle, very nice integration of flavors and no sharp edges (3098 views)
Tasted by Squirreljam on 1/17/2009: Impression only, but that is: decent, nothing special, even in the $40 range in Napa. In it's favor, it's not the cloying style and has a nicely acidic mouthfeel to go with some wood and cassis on both the nose and palate. Unfortunately, fruit was overly restrained. (3216 views)

Tasted by Alex H on 12/13/2008 & rated 83 points: Wine Fair @ Wine Gallery (Wine Gallery): Floral, slightly seductive style of a margaux and lifted by indian wood scents.Quite bordeaux styled with razor edge restraint. Might just be slightly woody but good firm structure and dark berries. (3261 views)
Tasted by mye on 11/28/2008 & rated 83 points: Medium Red, Slight purple
May be too young, but did not have any appreciable aroma.
Lacking taste of fruit. Overly acid, not well balanced
Not terrible, but not excellent. (3256 views)
Tasted by sasdax on 11/13/2008 & rated 89 points: Clients dinner so limited notes, but had good red berry or sweet cherry on the front, medium bodied in nature, finish was light, had some light oakiness in the midpalate, high 80s, ok for price point. (3299 views)
Tasted by Mattshank on 10/11/2008 & rated 89 points: Nose: Bright high tone fruits with a clay loam minerality and brinyness that is pure Stags Leap District AVA. Palate: Good acidity with red fruits. A little quick on the finish. The nose is more intriguing than the palate. This is well made but not worth the $49 retail price tag, however at the $32 I paid; a decent wine. Could improve more with some age, but I see this wine as essentially what it is today even with some age. (3351 views)
Tasted by michigan dogs on 8/1/2008 & rated 79 points: lacking any fruit, mild tannins, does not compare to any number of 05 napa cabs, maybe the bottle had not been stored well, got as a gift (3423 views)
Tasted by beachnic on 7/24/2008 & rated 91 points: Liked better than the 2004. Nice flavors and some complexity to it. Needs a little more bottle time but a quality cab. Nice density of fruit and balance. This is a nice Cabernet but overpriced. 90-91pts (3444 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 2/29/2008 & rated 90 points: nose of smoked bacon, very mellow like an old vintage, drank well... (3764 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 1/19/2008 & rated 89 points: Young. Medium tannins. Smooth, soft finish. Tasty. (4223 views)

California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in almost 10 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.
