Some sludge in the bottle. Lightest hint of bricking creeping into dense red/purple body. Wine is full bodied with intoxicating aromas of plum, candied black chery and some vanilla. Slightly sweet and liquory in a good way with some spice and notes of cinnamon and cedar. Palate has some nice plum fruit left supported by mature flavors with graphite, cedar and dark chocolate. Tannins are round and integrated but are still mouthcoating. Excellent bottle.
Dark maroon in color. The nose was full of mature red fruits. At first, kind of green, but the classic cab fruits really kicked in after about half an hour. Also decent complexity, and nice structure. A well made cab.
