Wow, what Marimar does is amplified when cellared properly. We drank two bottles in the last few weeks and both were stunning. Worth consuming over two days just to taste the complexities evolve. Aromas of cola, taste of black cherry with a 3 second finish. A fine example of what the Don Miguel vineyard can produce.

Medium ruby-garnet, slow moving legs @14% abv. Medium developed aromas of small red fruits, dry leaves, pepper and strangely enough liquorice notes. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium(-) tannins, medium body and medium(+) alcohol. Medium flavors of straberries, red berries, red cherries, earth and spice. Balanced, medium dry finish with tart acidity and distinct dusty texture.

Flowers, vanilla and spice follow to a medium bodied silky mouthfeel. Finish is just ok. A little boozy dry tannin and high acidity. Just ok for the money. Drink now.

Really coming into a great spot. All Marimar's wines benefit from cellaring.
