Very pale golden color. Stinky nose primary. Chemical, perm solution, sulfur, kind of a stinky, locker room smell. Under that is a tempting bright fruit like white peach and nectarine and Welch's white grape juice. Quite floral as well. Some tropical fruit as well, maybe a hint of mango.
Gratefully, this wine doesn't taste like it smells. It has a delicate flavor, bright summer fruits, white peach, apricot, mandarin oranges come through a bit on the finish. There is a strong floral component. Light acid. Fruity midpalate, medium refreshing finish. Nice balance between the sweetness and the acidity.
This is a very nice wine. Crisp, delicate. Very light and refreshing. Though I drink my wines at room temperature, this wine would be wonderful lightly cooled on a hot day. It reminds of tropical breezes. Maybe it's just the label influencing me, but I think it's the reverse; the label accurately reflects the nature of the wine.
The owner of the store recommended this wine to me when I asked him for a reasonably priced Chenin Blanc. This doesn't disappoint. For the price, this wine is a winner! I can't rate it as high as the South African Steen that knocked my socks off, but I'm impressed.

An excellent value for $9.79. Very big flavor that features lime and tangy citrus. This is very sweet with a crisp, clean and uplifting finish. Drink it on its own or with seafood or asian cuisine. This will not pair well with a lot of things just because it is so bold and unique. Not an every day wine but for the money this is not to be missed. I believe this was from 2007 but the bottle does not list a vintage (the card at the store said '07 and so does their website).

Dale Cruse's Blind Tasting Party: Very aromatic. Green pepper, perfumy with peach and lemon. Spicy pear and tart green apple. A rather rich style. Tasted blind.

Apples and lime. Sweet, but sort of crisp at the finish. A pretty simple wine, but for around ten bucks, I would buy again.

Lemon, grass, grapefruit. Good acidity. Rich, fruit forward finish.
