| | Tasted by wino_tim on 3/11/2009 & rated 89 points: Soft and fresh with notes of green apple, and apple blossoms, this offers creamy texture, medium body and good acidity. (637 views) |
| | Tasted by elliotgl on 1/30/2009 & rated 89 points: In the glass a light gold offering a restrained nose of vanilla and maybe bannana - In the mouth a soft lucious seamless wine offering the taste of butterscotch and muted spice without the acidity other tasters found. This is obviously a well crafted wine and very plesant but devoid of acidity, complexity and a probable life beyond 2-3 years. (648 views) |

| | Tasted by jwsmith on 11/1/2008 & rated 88 points: Not as good as the 2005 version, slightly brisk and tart. (697 views) |
| | Tasted by babnik on 10/16/2008 & rated 89 points: Green apple aromas that develop to apple cider with honeydew and peach flavors. Not much oak or butter -- the pure fruit chardonnay character really shines through. Really nice, but simple. I get the feeling that this balanced wine is more of an ager and will be ALOT better in 3-5 years. Right now, 89 points. (738 views) |
| | Tasted by wino_tim on 9/24/2008 & rated 89 points: On the sweeter, fatter side of Ramey's Chards but still appealing for its layered flavors of fruit and oak. (718 views) |
| | Tasted by jmull on 9/11/2008 & rated 90 points: Balance is the watchword here. Really nice pitted fruit (pear, peach) profile, with just the right amount of oak spice. As it warmed, a beautiful creamy vanilla aspect emerges. Fairly lush mouthfeel and a long finish. Nothing about this is mindblowing but it is essentially flawless. Exactly what one would want and expect in a entry level wine from a producer of Ramey's caliber. 90-91. (721 views) |
| | Tasted by jwsmith on 8/27/2008 & rated 91 points: Clear straw like chablis color nice toasted oak carmel nose with a lingering aftertaste. Very good classic puligny type finish. Great value at $ 36... (728 views) |
| | Tasted by Anonymous on 8/22/2008 & rated 88 points: from a restaurant wine list ($64). initially, served too cold. as it warmed, it calmed down in the glass, and after 30 minutes, it was drinking well. a bit lean and simple, but a nice straightforward profile without any major drawbacks. moderate oak. | | Tasted by mellison on 5/26/2008 & rated 89 points: Very similar to the Russian River chardonnay. This is an ok chardonnay. Really feel that it is really a $25 chardonnay masquerading as a $38 one. (848 views) |
| | Tasted by 16% on 4/9/2008 & rated 89 points: Medium yellow, lighter body in the glass. Subtle floral notes on the nose. Interesting buttered popcorn up front, yielding to citrus throught the mid to the end. (999 views) |
