  • This was a 2004 OC Gold Medal winner, which doesn't always mean a lot since wines are judged by varietal only with price ranges. However, this modestly priced Sauvignon Blanc blend impressed my brother-in-law enough so that he returned the gift favor. Delicate, very smooth with flavors of apricot, apple as well as citrus. Good by itself, it paired well with veal Marsala.
