  Wine was slightly warmer than ideal, but the wine was balanced, tannins has evolved to silky on the palate, fruit had integrated. Very good. Opened at a Meritage wine tasting and was considered the best of the night. Several people had to do a double take. Very Pleased. Sad I only had one!

  Decanted and drank 30-45 minutes latter, first glass was still tight but after 1 1/2 hours standing the second glass was very good. Conventional wisdom says this bottle should have been past its prime it stood up very well this was a very good bottle. Very deep nose with overtones of rich cherry. Still had all the rich bordeaux characteristics. Wish I had a few more bottles to see how much longer this would remain good.
