  • This luscious Langhorne Creek Shiraz was used as a comparator to a 1993 Grange. Unfair you may say but no it stood up well and showed the range of expression possible in Australian Shiraz. Sure it was jammy with liquorice and chocolate traces great structure but not nearly built to last another 30 years where as the Grange may well take another ten to express itself. This wine enjoyed over the next five years with oven baked rib fillet - medium rare again will bring joy at a price that could be repeated regularly.
