  • Another data point that Cameron is at the very front edge of domestic pinot noir. The nose is absolutely gorgeous, very floral and bursting with a cornucopia of sweet fruit. The body is rich but extraordinarily balanced and dancing light on its feet. The acid is lively and the pepper is sharp, while the cherries and cranberries burst with juiciness and richness. There are slightly bitter flower petals and a lot of Rose water. Absolutely fantastic wine sitting in a great place in its evolution. I can't stop drinking this.

  • Another really good showing from JP. Really nice nose of forest loam, mushrooms, mixed berries, and spice.
Palate was really good with structure and secondary character showing through.

  • Saturday Summer Wines (Washington, DC): Cherry-cranberry colored. Smells of black cherries, plums, rhubarb and some smoke. Medium-bodied, smooth and juicy on the palate with fresh acid and fine tannins. Juicy black cherries, cranberries dusted with olive tapenade, pepper, pickles and smoke. Elegant but still fruity with some beef drippings, pickles and herbs. Still plenty of time ahead, but showing very well out of the decanter.

  • Pale ruby... Nose dominated by high-toned cranberry and wax, basmati rice, spice. Flavorful, with waves of sour cherries... And like sour cherries, showing the acidity to pair easily with fish. Long finish, a tad bitter in the trailing end of the midpalate.

  • Great mix of dark berries, raspberries, forest loam, and asian spice on the nose.
Mixed raspberries on the palate and current as well with forest loam, asian spice showing as well.
The finish was really nice with still good structure.
Really nice pinot and going to hold my other bottle for a few more years as I think it will improve.
