Slow-O 2 hours. Consistent with the bottle I opened exactly one year ago today; slightly softer and more nuanced. Highly enjoyable, excellent with food. 14,5% abv, drink thru 2016

Decanted 30 minutes, consumed over 2 nights, both showing equally well. Modestly perfumed aromas of cola, red floral, a touch of strawberry, stony minerals and dark cherry. Medium-bodied palate offers delicacy and structure, cool acids and resolved tannins. Very Burgundian, but missing some of the complexity I was hoping for. Having tasted this bottling since release, I was expecting this to be on a different trajectory. I have more and will wait another year or two before trying again. 14,5% abv.

This has quieted down some in the past year and is in a bit of resting phase right now. Structured and powerful, this manged to complement Table6's baby skirt steak and radish dish quite nicely. I'll re-visit this in a year or two. Drink thru 2016.

Always a favorite from the Moshin lineup, this actually seems riper and a touch sweeter than in years past. It is more open-knit and accessible at this early stage. Blackberry and black cherry fruit, with baking spice, and minerals. In the mouth, more of a rounded feel. Strong finish. B+/A-
