Not bad in a Burgundian kind of way but not if you are after the ripe CdP style. Acid poking thru a little as fruit is frankly underripe. Dusty light tannins all resolved. Heavy sediments. Drink up

Gang of 5 in Covid19 times; No theme. We each brought some wines. (@ RW): The bouquet is mature and a bit dusty, but still shows beautiful red berries and some pleasant barnyard. On the palate the same impressions. earth, juicy red berries, some pleasant sweetness. Meaty and elegant at the same time. Fully mature now and still a great pleasure, but don’t wait too long anymore.

tasted this wine next to the 03, but our 03 seemed like it was flawed. this bottle blew it out of the water that night. it might have been a little light to be true to CdP, but it was pretty with bright light red fruit and balance

Mixed French Wines (Irene's): This wine has softened since the last time I had it 6 years ago, but it has not declined (or improved to any noticeable measure). Instead, it's more Burgundian and nuanced.

Mixed French Wines at Irene's (Irene's House, St. Paul): Light medium red color with maroon tints. PNP, drank a glass over 30 minutes plus. Fun to taste this again, and I think tonight it reminds me even more of a mature ffaetherweight burgundy than even before. Very pretty, great spices that give hints of where this is really from; red fruits, dried dusty tannins, leather, so fine, light medium body leaving a delicate poised impression. 92+pts.
