Popped and poured. Deep ruby color, a little watery at edges. Clean nose of fruity berries, slightly perfumed. This is clean and simple with red fruit on the mid-pal, if not a little hot. Somewhat spicy finish with soft tannins. 2nd day: alcohol wasn't as bothersome, flavors were more discernible.
50% Grenache, 50% Syrah. 13% alcohol.

Quite delicious. Lots of raspberry fruit and liquor flavors. Touch of spice, and a little heat pokes through on the finish. Fine tannins lend a little structure. But a real enjoyable wine, with great soft fruit. Perfect week day quaffer. While I haven't been all that impressed with Perrin's CDR's of late, the village level have really excelled the last couple of vintages. Great QPR.

Aquited itself well with sundry Italian. The inital presentation was questionable but stood erect to display juciness and soft tannin well done.

Open and accessible with notes of leather and wood, soft plum and moss. Not a lot going on, but plenty drinkable at this price.

Chronicle: A bit sour, tart, bright red frts w/slight bite; very typical, classic CdR
